New Zealand has never been as attractive for global investors, tech talent and tech buyers. Now it’s time to tell that story and position New Zealand as an exciting tech industry to engage with. Key to success will be a compelling and consistent international message that encourages a common purpose.
5. Leaders & innovation
New Zealand is home to some of the most innovative people and businesses in the world. Now is the time to share inspiring stories of local tech innovation and leadership.
6. Māori tech participation
Inclusivity is the bedrock of innovation. Techweek will elevate and showcase Māori excellence in digital and tech business and encourage our tangata whenua to explore digital careers pathways.
Event submissions are opening Tuesday 8 February for Techweek22. Techweek events vary from major conferences to small meetups on niche topics, hackathons, workshops and networking events, webinars. If you have a great idea or want to showcase, be sure to submit your event.
Here are some key dates to get locked in your diary:
Tuesday 8 February Techweek22 event submissions open
Friday 18 March Closing date for events to be included in our early announcement
Tuesday 29 March Preliminary programme and headline events announced
Tuesday 12 April Last call for event submissions
Tuesday 3 May Full Techweek22 programme announced
16 May - 22 May Techweek22
The earlier you can get your submissions in, the more chance you’ll have of securing the time you want.
The listing fee is $49.00 plus GST per event, for all events participating in Techweek. This fee is a standard administration fee, required after the event has been approved into the programme. Payments can be made via credit card, please contact info@techweek.co.nz if you require an invoice.
If you plan to run multiple events (e.g. different events and/or different locations), please submit a separate listing for each event. Note: you will be required to pay the standard event fee of $49.00 plus GST for each event. However, if your single event runs across multiple days (e.g. starts Monday morning and ends Tuesday evening), this should be submitted as one event and you will only pay a single event fee of $49.00 plus GST.
