Are you an innovative small New Zealand business? Did you use technology to connect to your customers, or help your customers connect to their customers, during the COVID-19 lockdown? You could win the chance to tell the world about it in an episode of Techweek TV!
When it comes to tech, it’s not just the big players that make a difference. New Zealand has a history of being the small guy taking on the world and Techweek wants to shine a spotlight on small New Zealand businesses who used technology in new and interesting ways to connect with customers during the COVID-19 lockdown period.
Taking place during Techweek2020, 27 July to 2 August, Techweek TV is a series of live, online video sessions broadcast on the Techweek website. These interactive panel discussions and presentations give all Kiwis access to the brightest tech minds in Aotearoa. The winners of this competition will get the chance to be interviewed in an episode of Techweek TV on Monday 27 July.
Technology is the way of the future, and that was never more evident than during the COVID-19 response when all of life’s interactions were taking place in a digital world. The technology adoption that has happened over the past few months has and will accelerate New Zealand towards a digital future.
We want to hear from New Zealand based start ups or SMEs to showcase technology that helped NZ connect to its future during the COVID-19 response.
If you can answer one or more of these questions then we want to hear from you:
Did you launch a new tech product or company during the COVID-19 lockdown that helped people connect?
Did you find a new way to connect to your customers, or help your customers connect to their customers?
How did your technology help Kiwis connect during COVID-19?
To be eligible, you must:
Be a New Zealand based startup or SME
Demonstrate how you have used technology to connect to your customers, or help your customers connect to their customers, or help New Zealanders connect, during the COVID-19 lockdown period by completing the application form by 11:59pm on Tuesday 30 June.
Be able to be interviewed live on Techweek TV at 4pm on Monday 27 July. Filming will be virtual, and will require a fast and reliable internet connection (fibre is preferable), a camera with sound recording, and a quiet location to be filmed.
This competition has now closed.
