Come and learn with your students what the possibilities could be for integrating the new digital technologies curriculum. Co-construct from the student's perspective, curriculum design with your students acting as advisors. Specialist Core facilitators will be on hand to support decision making and initial thoughts on local curriculum development.
During this morning session Teacher and Students will be learning together (Ako), using Technology devices, products and systems to explore, play, test, learn, refine, experiment using robot kits, Eddisons, microbits, Mbots, drones etc.
Teachers will be provided with a brief introductory session on the new digital technologies curriculum and the new progress outcomes statements, to provide direction on activities.
The afternoon session will have the teacher working on curriculum development and planning, while the students continue exploring with activities by directing and advising on curriculum development decisions.
