Becoming the hands of the metaverse - lessons from the journey

StretchSense is the New Zealand company poised to dominate the virtual world accessory market by providing the ‘hands of the metaverse’. Already a dominant player in the motion capture market for the film and TV VFX industry and game development industry, StretchSense CEO Dr. Ben O’Brien has stories to tell on the journey so far and excitement to share about the journey ahead. Ben will share his learnings from leading a tech start-up, building a team to pioneer the industries of the future and creating a culture of innovation, the foundation of sustained technological leadership. Ben will be joined by StretchSense’s Head of Hardware, Jen Xu, and Head of Software, Scott de Jong, to talk about their experiences working for tech start-ups. Their journeys, what they’ve learned and what advice they’d give to their younger self.
