BOP Women in Tech

There are so many opportunities in the tech sector for women and it offers a lot more flexibility than some other career paths, yet women make up less than 25% of the tech industry in NZ.

Increasing representation of women in tech is important not only for the brilliant career opportunities it can offer to them, but also for the ability of the technology industry as a whole to innovate and rise to meet the needs of society.

This event is suitable for those who not only want to get inspired and learn more about the vast range of career opportunities in the tech sector but also connect with like minded people. Whilst the focus will be on "women" the event is open to everyone.

Speakers

Jen 03

Jen Liddle

CEO of startup www.aeroplanned.com

I love to solve problems. With decades of experience in the flight training industry and a desire to understand the intricacies of an operation, I now get the chance to do that for Flight Training schools worldwide as Founder and CEO of Aeroplanned.

The algorithms that form the foundation of the Aeroplanned software are the outcome of my many years of learning, testing and refining at locations around the world and I am passionate about bringing this to the Flight training industry for the benefit of all.

I love to learn, and thrive when collaborating with innovative thinkers, who also just want to do things better.
