Creativity and Design in Tech

You will meet innovators, who are experts in tech and using design and creativity to create uniqueness. Gain insights into their creative processes, learn about groundbreaking projects, and discover the future of innovation. There is so much diversity when it comes to working in technology and with this event we want to showcase that being creative and thinking outside the box are skills that are valuable when working in tech.

It is the perfect event for high-school and uni students to get inspired and meet role models but also for adults that are eager to explore the possibilities in tech.

Blythe Ress-Jones, Creative Director of Virtuo Design - Multi award winning New Zealand product design and development company located here in the Mount. They build and realise remarkable new products, brands and experiences and partner with visionary purpose-driven companies and create ideas that change everything.

Jessica Turner, Lecturer and Programme Lead for Au Reikura - School of Computing & Mathematical Sciences based at the University of Waikato's Tauranga campus. Her research is in the area of engineering interactive systems and human-centred computing. Jessica latest projects involve work with the internet of things, social robotics and medical devices.

Lynley from Little Monkey - Lynley is an entrepreneur that created a successful business in Papamoa within only four years using technology and creativity. Through the years she learned that technology can develop her creativity and give endless possibilities when providing new products to her customers.

Mark your calendars and seize the chance to broaden your horizons at this exclusive talk with STEM experts!
