Hosted by Venture Taranaki and Taranaki Catchment Communities, and with the support of Baker Tilly and Callaghan Innovation, the Taranaki Agritech Conference and Expo is an opportunity for the Taranaki rural community to better understand the breadth and value of agritech, and engage in discussion about preparing for and embracing on-farm technology.
The expo will showcase a wide range of agritech products and solutions, and give you an opportunity to discuss directly with providers about how their different tools and technology might suit your needs. Exhibiters include: Basepower (grid energy alternatives), Ubco (Electric farm bikes), CropX (Soil sensors and software), Pastoral Robotics (Nutrient dispersion and management) and many more!
There will also be a great line-up of conference speakers throughout the day, giving you confidence to further consider and explore how agritech can support and enhance your own farming operations. Throughout the day a number of industry experts will discuss a range of topics including:
- Baker Tilly Staples Rodway: Making the financial case for investment, and how to prepare for agritech
- FMG: Insuring agritech solutions and managing risk
- Primo/IoT Taranaki: Rural connectivity and the Internet of Things (IoT)
- AgFirst: Assessing the available herd tracking and management solutions
With Fieldays postponed until November this year, come along to Stratford War Memorial Centre to get your fix of farming focussed technology and innovation!
Light lunch/refreshments will be provided, however, registration is essential.
If you're located in South Taranaki and can't make it to Stratford, feel free to check out the agritech event in Whanganui on Friday 20 May - AgriTech Whanganui 2022
