Jason Roberts is the Executive Director for FinTechNZ, and before this Founder and Chair for InsurTechNZ. Jason has a 20+ year history of bringing to market multiple digital products and platforms and is strongly focused on building NZ's capability and capacity to scale FinTech to the world

CEO, Akahu

Josh is the CEO of Akahu, a provider of open finance platform that's focussed exclusively on New Zealand. Akahu provides bank account connectivity to products like PaySauce, PocketSmith, and Cloudcheck.

Josh's first job was digging out sheep manure from under the woolshed. He was a co-founder and CEO of Snowball Effect, with other experience at WeWork and Bell Gully.

As a Payments NZ executive, Jane is responsible for leading and driving corporate and industry strategy, innovation, and business development.
She heads up a portfolio of business units including strategy, open banking with the API Centre, corporate affairs, membership, and business intelligence. Her responsibilities also include chairing and facilitating industry collaborations and strategic forums, leading network groups and being a member of various ecosystem advisory groups.
Prior to joining Payments NZ, Jane had a career in the public sector where she held several leadership roles. She has widespread governance and business experience.
