AgriTechNZ have recently completed a pan-sector survey of digital adoption across New Zealand Aotearoa’s primary sector industries. With support from partners: Zespri, Fertiliser Association of New Zealand, Foundation for Arable Research, DairyNZ and the Ministry for Primary Industries, we look at the drivers and barriers for uptake of technology and a baseline on what uptake looks like.

The research data is ‘hot off the press’ and in this korero project team members Bridgit Hawkins, Tim Cutfield and Brendan O’Connell will discuss the initial insights emerging and what is happening with the research next.

  • This year, the Techweek TV sessions have been segmented into the Techweek22 themes.
  • The sessions can be viewed from the comforts of your home office, desk, and anywhere you’ve got a device connected to the internet.
  • You can view the sessions here. Just click play, at the time of the session kick-off.
  • Missed a session? Don’t worry, all Techweek TV sessions will be recorded and be made available on demand for you to view at your convenience.

Chief Sustainability Officer, CropX Technologies; Council Member, Agritech NZ

From my earliest days of helping on the family farm to founding a technology business focused on enabling financial and environmental sustainability for farmers, I am passionate about making a difference in the agricultural sector. Now I can take this further, working with global agritech business CropX and bringing focus on the role of women in the sector, through Fields of Change.
The broad experience I have gained over my career enables me to bring together knowledge and expertise from business, technology, science and social science to develop solutions today for tomorrow's challenges.
