We need some space! Building capacity and talent in the space industry

Rocket Lab has been at the leading edge of building the space industry in Aotearoa - and changing the way it works, worldwide - since Peter Beck launched the company in 2006. Fifteen years later, our global team consists of employees in New Zealand, the United States, and Canada. Employees who come from all backgrounds to work in all aspects of our end-to-end space systems company.

We build more than rockets in this lab - and our industry is made up of more than rocket scientist and engineers. From school leavers and apprentices, to boat-builders, aircraft maintenance engineers, firefighters, air traffic controllers, environmental compliance auditors, school teachers, and graphic designers - we need people from all walks of life to walk the walk with us.

Come to this interactive presentation and panel from our international Space Ambassadors to hear about how they broke barriers in their journey to working in 'space', and how you can imagine a future for yourself in going to space to make life better on earth.

Whether you're a teacher or educator hoping to lead the next wave of space industry professionals, or you want to be one yourself, come along to learn about why you have a place in space.
