The construction industry sits at the precipice of a paradigm shift in digital technology, we now have the tools, technology, and capabilities to develop large scale architecture in exciting new ways, with incredible results. Warren and Mahoney have been doing just that.
As designers, shaping the cities of tomorrow, we have a responsibility to ensure that we respond to the ever-increasing needs of future generations, and the environment. We must also respond to the needs of the current and future economic climate by ensuring that as our scope and ambition rises to meet the needs of the future, we can do so efficiently and safely.
New tools including data management, AI, digital coordination, construction robotics, the metaverse, the internet of things, digital scanning, and generative design tools allow us the capability to interact with construction in incredible new ways. We can massively reduce the carbon footprint of new commercial projects, respond to mental health in the midst of a loneliness epidemic, and visualize large scale urban development through generative tools.
Join us in our studio to hear a series of short presentations covering the incredible ways we use emerging technologies to create better buildings, that reflect our history, culture, the needs of our city and people, and respond to the needs of the future.
It’s an exciting time to be in the AEC industry!
