Blockchain technologies are one of the major technologies converging to create a tidal wave of disruption with the potential to radically change business and society. Join international entrepreneur and Edmund Hillary Fellow Thiago Cañellas for this interactive session to understand the basics of Blockchain history, discuss its convergence with other technologies and understand the impacts we can expect on the short and medium term.
There will be an opportunity for Q&A and light refreshments will be provided.

Thiago Cañellas
CEO of EOS Rio
Thiago is the co-founder and CEO of EOS Rio, a blockchain infrastructure provider operating in 10+ networks. He also heads Rio Blocks, a blockchain studio developing distributed applications, and Block4 a brand engagement and loyalty platform based on NFTs and tokens. Thiago is an Engineer and business strategist with 15+ years in multiple start-up roles and has a management consulting and corporate finance background. He is part of the Edmund Hillary Fellowship (EHF), from hapori Ngaa Reo Wheko, and is based in Taranaki.
