Kete AI - Soft Launch: A Kete of AI knowledge for Māori communities

Welcome to Kete AI - a new digital gateway designed and led by Māori for all, to help understand and embrace the world of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Designed with the heart and spirit of our communities in mind, Kete AI is a free online resource crafted to empower Māori and all New Zealanders by demystifying AI and its numerous possibilities.

AI is rapidly transforming the way we live, work, and interact with the world. Yet, for many, this technology remains a complex and elusive frontier. That's where Kete AI steps in. Our mission is straightforward: to make AI knowledge accessible and understandable for everyone, especially for our Māori communities who are just beginning their journey into this emerging and rapidly advancing field.

Kete AI was designed to provide clear, credible information and resources that explain AI’s fundamentals, its potential impacts, and the opportunities it presents. Through articles, videos, and online tools, we delve into topics like how AI works, why it matters, and how it can be used responsibly and beneficially in our lives.

Join us in exploring AI, learning about its potential, and discovering how it can be harnessed to enhance our communities and our future. Whether you're curious about how AI can improve daily tasks, eager to understand its implications on society, or interested in its technological underpinnings, Kete AI is here to guide you on this exciting journey. Let’s embark together on this path of knowledge and innovation.

Soft launch details: a link to the online resource will be shared on the day (Friday 24 May @830am), as well as shared publicly via our social media channels.

We look forward to welcoming you onboard! Nau mai, haere mai!
