Join us for the exclusive screening of Outside the Valley which follows American founders, Ryan and Hunter, as they move across continents in an exploration of startup ecosystems beyond Silicon Valley. With visits to Portugal, Uruguay, New Zealand, and Mexico the duo meets with founders who are trying to build great companies in a global environment. They uncover inspirational stories of sacrifice, struggle, and success as they navigate the process of their own fledgling company.
Founder and director Hunter Weeks will be introducing the film in person so don't miss out on this special opportunity to hear from Hunter and take inspiration from startup communities around the world.

Hunter Weeks
Founder and Director
Hunter Weeks is an American film and TV producer. Recently, he became an Edmund Hillary Fellow and moved to New Zealand with his family.
His previous film projects have defined new distribution models, pioneered firsts in the digital film distribution (including the first feature film on YouTube), and helped create new adventure-film categories. Hunter's eight feature films have been seen on Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, and many other platforms. He has spoken publicly on his successful distribution and marketing efforts at major film events, including Sundance Film Festival, SXSW, Galway Film Fleadh, The Conversation, and DIY Days.
