What's Free in Technology

Hosted by WestTech, discover the wonders of opensource computing and just how much technology you can use for free. Learn about free options for graphics and photo editing, word-processing, conference calling and much, much more. On the registration form there is the opportunity to request topics of interest which will be delivered on the Wednesday session.

Presenter: Andy Wright

Andy Wright qualified many years ago as a librarian where he specialised in the development of Information Technology products to make information more accessible to all. He has run his own international company for over 30 years and never purchased a piece of proprietary software.

What is WestTech?

WestTech comes under the umbrella of the West Coast Technology Education Trust umbrella, and provides community education in the technologies - digital, food, soft and hard materials, and is exploring enterprise education for those wishing to develop crafts into cottage industries.
